Zane MacDonald is a Latvian-born writer and producer working in film, television and advertising. She has worked on international feature films, commercials and music videos.

 

Zane holds an MA in Screenwriting from Edinburgh Napier University, Screen Academy Scotland and a BA in Media from Baltic Film and Media School, Tallinn University. She has been presented as one of the 10 most promising European series writers at the Berlinale Series Market 2023 ("Only Writers in the Building" showcase by TorinoFilmLab and MIDPOINT Institute).
